We are getting married at the Church of Panagia Chryseleousis, in the beautiful village of Foinikaria, 15 minutes drive from Limassol!

The reception will be at Poseidonia Beach Hotel, Limassol, Cyprus.

The Wedding Day

Itinerary:

16:00 - 'Bridal dressing' at Poseidonia Beach Hotel. A Cypriot tradition where friends and family meet the bride to give her their blessings and best wishes for the wedding.

18:00 - Ceremony at Ieros Naos Panagias Chryseleousas.

20:00 - Reception at Poseidonia Beach Hotel.

Transportation on the Wedding Day:

A dedicated bus will depart at 17:15 from outside the Poseidonia Beach Hotel to transfer guests to the ceremony venue.

After the ceremony, the bus will transport guests back to the Poseidonia Beach Hotel for the reception.

Flying to Cyprus

There are two airports in Cyprus; Paphos International Airport and Larnaca International Airport. They are both around 45 minutes drive from Limassol. For transportation to and from the airports you will can pre-book taxi's, or you can hire a car. They have Bolt (like Uber) in Cyprus.

Getting around Cyprus & Limassol
A holiday to Limassol can be described as a cross between a city break with great food and drink, and mix of beach holiday thrown in. For those who wish to explore around Limassol and the island we strongly recommend hiring a car.

Taxis are widely available and you can also download the app Bolt with is very similar to Uber - usually they need pre-booking but can be flagged when near the centre of Limassol.

Public buses are also available and can be a budget friendly way of getting around, especially up & down the esplanade.

Places to Stay

There's loads of hotels and places to stay in Limassol that can be found here. The wedding reception is going to be at Posedonia beach hotel (Discounted rates available @ around €150/night twin room+breakfast, contact us for more information). AirBnb's also available in & around Limassol!

We'll be staying at St Raphael hotel in Limassol either-side of the wedding and Hotel Posedonia for the night of the wedding.

Places to Eat & Drink

Your best bet when going out for a meal is sticking to the traditional Cypriot restaurants which without question serve up the best food at the best prices. Traditional tarverna are the best places for a great meze and budget friendly, the marina is a really nice spot for a coffee, meal & a drink. You can always get a great coffee but considering the heat we recommend sticking with the local favourite, Frappe, be sure to try a post-meal Cypriot coffee also ( takes a bit of getting used to but becomes a non-negotiable not long after ). If you're feeling adventurous, jump in a taxi with a local and ask the driver to take you to their favourite Meze spot. Here are a few of our recommendations:
